Welcome to ELIFIX101 Garage Door Repair. By using our website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

1. Services Provided

ELIFIX101 Garage Door Repair provides residential garage door services including inspections, maintenance, repairs, spring and cable replacement, opener service, parts replacement, garage door replacement, and installation.

Service availability, response times, and appointment scheduling may vary depending on location, traffic, weather conditions, technician availability, parts availability, and the nature of the service required.

2. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, online, or by direct communication with ELIFIX101.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Any applicable cancellation or missed-appointment fee will be communicated to the customer in advance.

3. Estimates, Pricing & Payments

Pricing depends on the condition of the garage door system, the work required, labor, parts, and materials.

Whenever reasonably possible, pricing or an estimate will be communicated to the customer before work begins.

Additional work or parts not included in the original estimate will not be performed without customer approval.

Applicable taxes are additional unless specifically stated otherwise.

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless another payment arrangement has been agreed to in writing.

We currently accept cash, credit card, and e-transfer.

4. Warranties

ELIFIX101 may provide a limited workmanship warranty on labor performed by us. The specific warranty period and coverage, when applicable, will be stated on the customer’s invoice, estimate, or other written service documentation.

Manufacturer warranties may also apply to garage doors, openers, springs, hardware, and other parts or products installed. Manufacturer warranty terms are determined by the applicable manufacturer.

Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse, impact damage, accidents, lack of maintenance, pre-existing conditions, modifications or repairs performed by others, or damage caused by circumstances outside our control.

No warranty is provided beyond the specific warranty terms stated in writing.

5. Existing Conditions & Additional Repairs

Garage door systems may contain worn, damaged, corroded, or fatigued components that are not always visible before service begins.

ELIFIX101 is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal material fatigue, or the later failure of components that were not included in the agreed scope of work.

If additional issues are discovered during service, we will advise the customer and obtain approval before performing additional chargeable work.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the garage door, garage interior, electrical outlets where required, and the surrounding work area.

Vehicles, personal belongings, and other obstacles should be moved away from the work area when requested.

7. Liability

ELIFIX101 will perform services using reasonable care and professional workmanship.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ELIFIX101 is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, customer misuse, unauthorized modifications, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.

8. Emergency & Response-Time Services

Same-day and after-hours garage door service may be available depending on technician availability and service location.

Any stated arrival or response time is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise and may be affected by traffic, weather, location, current service calls, or other circumstances outside our control.

9. Privacy

We collect only the personal information reasonably necessary to communicate with customers, schedule appointments, provide services, issue estimates or invoices, process payments, and respond to customer inquiries.

We do not sell personal information.

10. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current. However, website content, service descriptions, availability, pricing information, promotions, and other information may be updated without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

ELIFIX101 may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

Updated Terms will become effective when posted on our website, unless otherwise required by law.
